Tennis Match: Beta to RC

Hello. I hope you’ve had a great week. Mine has been quite busy. I’ve been fixing up the old beta release of Tennis Match and making some changes/introducing a few new features for the Release Candidate release. I’m delighted to say that it works! Check out the walkthrough here. In the walkthrough, I do mention a small bug where the user’s profile is displayed when the user favorites/unfavorites a listing or user, but this has been fixed. I will most likely be publishing Tennis Match to the Google Play store at the end of the month and I’ll send out an announcement when I do.

Some of the things I’ve learned this past week are:

• Spreadsheets are awesome

• Puppies are truly the best

• If an app that was working fine previously suddenly starts behaving like the apocalypse has hit, try running the app on a different device. It could be caused by the computer (if it’s an emulator), internet connection, or just an overload of programs running at once

• My computer was not meant to run to emulators, Android Studio, Google Chrome, Slack, and Discord at the same time and it will throw a fit if forced to do so
